Today we enjoyed a day by the pool; we stayed at this great resort (for about the same price as your local super 8)... and it was perfect for families! We were able to meet up with our good friends from Ohio, Neal and Kelly, for a few hours in the afternoon. It was good to catch up with them a bit. Things to remember:
Shopping at Walmart for some groceries so we could eat a home cooked meal or two
Breaking a glass and the spaghetti sauce jar in our hotel (a clumsy and messy day for me)
Ate breakfast at the fanciest McDonald's we've EVER seen! Complete with a crystal chandelier!
Hanging out by the pool side most of the day
Watching Briggs swim by himself and become more confident
Going down the slides; Cory thought I did so weith such grace ;-)
The manager coming to approve Ethan's height of 42 inches ever time he wanted to go down the slide
Baking Frechetta pizza in our room and taking it down to the pool
Brooklyn and Ethan taking a long bath in our huge jacuzzi tub
Sterling waking me several times during the night... that little stinker!!
Uncomfortable thick pillows. I missed my moldable pillow I left at home
Getting to bed before 10 p.m... a good night and much needed!
