I mentioned that Carl and Judy bought tickets for our family to go to the rodeo so on Wednesday we headed down to Pocatello to go to the Extreme Bulls night with Mindy and Jed's family. Before that we headed to Billmans for a hamburger and fries. Sterling went to spend the evening with Carl and Judy.
At Billmans
I didn't want to lug my big camera around so I took our point and shoot camera and had to re-learn how to use it so forgive the quality in some of the photos.
Ethan has been battling this horrible cold for about 10 days now. He was still pretty miserable when we went to the rodeo.
Trying to find the tricky word "cowboy" in the word find. I found it first :-) We're not competitive in this family at all :-)
The Rodeo
Things to remember: Parking on the street to not pay for parking and getting a ride on the golf cart to the arena in the rain, the boys eating jolly rancher popsicles and Ethan dropping part of his on the way to the garbage, bending down to pick it up and put it in his mouth, the silly clown in the barrel that wore his tight, short, high-school basketball uniform, Ethan and Brooklyn coughing, Ethan being grumpy, Briggs really wanting to meet the cowboys, tired kids. Overall it was a really fun night!
Waiting for the rodeo to start; sucking on lemon drops
Me and my hottie!
Love the BIG red, white and blue!
After the rodeo we ran into Cory's cousin Sadie and her family. We went with them down to meet the cowboys and clowns. The cowboys looked soooooo young. The kids loved shaking their hands.
Carl, Hudson, and Sadie... so cute!
