6 months...

This is a little after the fact, but the day before Brooklyn's 3rd birthday was Sterling's 1/2 birthday ;-)  Why not acknowledge some sort of birthday celebration in July for each of our family members... kind of par for the course!  But this is a big one!

6 MONTHS!!  

Really?  Where has the time gone?  

I am planning on taking my kids "milestone" photos soon but here are some fun ones of him this month.

This photo was taken in the garage while going through boxes for our up-coming garage sale (August 12th and 13th if you want to come or add to).  The boys found this old cowboy hat and stuck it on him and he was so content to just sit there.  Ooooh, he's cute!

Briggs reading to him.  But as long as I was in the room he was more content to just look at me (he loves his mama!!).  Briggs is a good older brother.

Sterling hanging out at Briggs' last baseball game for the summer.  He is just content to hang out where ever we go... most of the time.

6 Month Milestones/Traits

Has only gained 1/2 pound in 2 months (dropping to the 10% for his weight...) no biggie when he looks pretty healthy to me

Loves to suck on things and grab at whatever is nearby

His eyes still light up so bright when he smiles.  It really makes my day!

His smile is big and reminds me of Briggs' smile as a baby, but his expressions are so Ethan

His eyes are still green

Is easily entertained by his siblings

Likes rice cereal, squash, and sweet potatoes (well, that's all I've really given him for baby food)

Loves table food and grunts emphatically for more

Loves to sleep on his tummy (like his mama and daddy)

He's is sooooooooooo easily distracted while nursing that it's getting pretty difficult to get the job done

He LOVES to play/pull with my hair while he nurses (or pinch my arms... and it hurts)

Can hold a bottle to feed himself

Loves to play in his standing play gym (above)

Rolls onto his tummy if he is on the ground, but can't roll back over

Finally sleeps through the night (hallelujah!!!)

Getting his bottom left tooth in... hopefully soon.  He's been a bit irritable at times because of that

Still loves to splash and play in the bath and is super ticklish under his chin.  I discovered that while washing under there one day.  It is so cute.

He is super ticklish on his legs and ribs

The kids favorite thing to do is get him to laugh!  He has a great belly laugh.  

He is a LOVED little boy!
