Jazz/Heat game

Last weekend Cory and I had the opportunity to go to the Jazz and Heat game down in Salt Lake... kid-less (a big thanks to my in-laws who kept them over night).  It was so much fun to drive down, talk business, talk about our life, and just be together.  We ate at Cheesecake factory before the game (we love the bang bang chicken and shrimp dish, and the tex mex rolls... oh, and cheesecake :-)

After dinner we headed to the game and what a great game it was!  It was so exciting!  The jazz won in the last 10 seconds by 1 point after coming back from loosing their 15 point lead in the third/fourth quarter.  It made for some great basketball!  Here are some of the photos from the night!

Before the game...

 players warming up

 Packed stadium.
It was amazing how many Labron fans came out of the woodworks when they started giving the Jazz a run for their money towards the end!

Lets just say I had a happy husband when the Jazz pulled it out!

Waiting to hear the post-game interview wearing our Jazz hats that we won.

We got to the hotel around 11 and when Cory saw nothing was on tv I suggested that we read our books... you would of thought I suggested sleeping on our heads.  He thought it was a lame suggestion.  It made me laugh.  He turned the tv off and we...

read our books with our own side bed lamp.  I think he felt like that aged him about 40 years.  I love to read at night and I was loving that he was joining me!

Other highlights from the trip...
In-n-out at 10:15 am (so we could get on the road) and the line being out the door.  Really?!?!  I love In-n-out like the next person but at 10:15 am?  It was good though.  When are they going to get one in Idaho and Hobby Lobby for that matter?!?!

The kids had soooo much fun at Grandma and Grandpa's that when we went to pick them up Brooklyn was upset because she said she told us to stay "ONE more day!"  She was NOT happy to go!  They enjoyed watching Tarzan 2, eating popcorn and pizza, going to the library, and playing with cousins!

Good times!
