For Memorial day Cory's aunts invited us all over to the community corral to ride horses. Briggs and Ethan rode the horses all over all by themselves. The kids cannot get enough of the horses. It was really fun! Brooklyn kept saying "ride ride horta" [horse] over and over and over again. She would get so upset when she had to get off and let someone else ride; what is it with little girls and horses?!?!?! Here are some pictures from the morning!

That evening, after the rain passed, we went and visited Cory's grandparent's graves and his brother Troys. It turned out to be a perfect evening.
We finished off the night visiting Cory's Dad's parents; it was fun to visit with them. The kids played Legos while Cory ate most of his grandma's hommade bread with her yummy jam. On the way home we stopped at Artic Circle for the kids to get a ice cream cone, since it was our Family Home Evening activity, and we were plesantly surprised that kid cones were free--Gotta love Artic Circle!!!!
It was a nice day. And I appreciated the time that we had to go and remember those that we loved that have passed on before us. My prayer is that their legacy remains always in our hearts!
